Another type of check to be carried out periodically is that which concerns the tread wear of the tires
tyres.
A reduced height, as known, increases the instability of the vehicle, with the possibility that the rubber is damaged and that, in the event of rain, aquaplaning phenomena occur with consequent loss of control of the vehicle.
LASER EXAMINER 2 is equipped with a special head with magnetic coupling which allows you to measure the residual tread depth in a short time. The instrument, resting on the tyre, projects a laser beam onto the profile and performs the measurement objectively.
A highly professional service, easy to manage
To better control and manage the information coming from the measurements of discs and tyres, TEXA has developed a practical software application, to be installed on a Windows PC or AXONE Nemo, to be used in combination with LASER EXAMINER 2. Thanks to a graphical interface simple and intuitive in a short time you get to complete an objective test of the "wheel system".
The menu is divided into three types of measurement: Disc, Pneumatic, Fast Check. By accessing the latter, the operator can start a quick check of the wear of the discs and the wheel tread, a very useful operation during the acceptance phase to give customers evidence of the state of their vehicle when entering the workshop . At the end it is possible to print a complete report to be delivered to the customer.
