Description

Hydraulic Sealant 35S42 - Arexons

Specific product for sealing threaded joints in hydraulic and pneumatic pipelines up to 3/4" diameter.

Removal is possible with normal tools.

Product with medium thixotropy and medium mechanical strength.

The thixotropic property prevents the treated surfaces from dripping and allows application without waste. Medium mechanical resistance makes disassembly possible.

Ensures a perfect seal against liquids and gases.

Forms a tenacious film that increases the structural strength of the joint.

Protects threads against corrosion and prevents loosening caused by vibration.

It does not clog micro-passages and does not contaminate hydraulic or pneumatic circuits.

The anaerobic characteristic, i.e. fluid state in the presence of air, allows easy removal of excess product.

For faster sealing, we recommend System AP724 Rapid Primer.

Employment

Recommended for sealing threaded joints and fittings in general, pipes and vessels containing gas, LPG, compressed air, oil and fuels, industrial fluids, CFCs, drinking water and various chemicals.

Use

Before assembly, clean and dry the threads (water, oil or dirt will not guarantee adhesion of the sealant to the threaded parts).

Warnings

This product is not normally recommended for use with plastics, where stress cracking is possible.

Storage

Product shelf life after packaging in sealed package and storage at room temperature: 18 months minimum.
