The FTX-2000X660-TOP DCR is a professional metal lathe designed for high-precision machining on large workpieces. Its extremely robust structure, featuring laminated and ground prismatic guides and a hardened carriage (HRC43), ensures rigidity, stability, and consistent accuracy even under heavy loads.
With a distance between centres of 2000 mm and a maximum swing over bed of 660 mm, this lathe is ideal for machining shafts, tubes, cylinders, and large components used in mechanical workshops, heavy fabrication, and advanced industrial applications. The 113 mm spindle bore allows the passage of large-diameter bars.
The powerful 10 HP motor, supplied at 400 V three-phase, is matched with a 12-speed mechanical gearbox, providing a rotation range from 36 to 1600 rpm. This allows both high-torque roughing operations and extremely precise finishing work.
The lathe is equipped with automatic longitudinal and cross feeds, and the intermediate carriage features rapid feeds:
– 4500 mm/min longitudinal
– 1900 mm/min cross
The machine includes numerous professional safety devices: micro-switches on guards, spindle safety mechanism, emergency stop, foot brake, chuck guard, and tool post protection.
