Below are the system requirements for installing the software on a PC.
IDC5 is compatible with the following Microsoft operating systems:
- Windows 8.1
- Windows 10
- Windows 11
IDC5 versions compatible with the Windows 11 operating system are:
- IDC5 CAR 75 and later
- IDC5 TRUCK 52 and higher
- IDC5 BIKE 35 and later
- IDC5 MARINE 17 and later
- IDC5 OFF HIGHWAY 23 and later
Windows RT / Windows 10 S / Windows 10 LTSB 2015 operating systems and Windows Insider Preview builds are not supported.
This software is not compatible with ARM processor-based devices running Windows OS.

The hard disk space requirement refers to a single diagnostic environment for its first installation.
The recommended space takes into account being able to upgrade the software to some later versions.
Internet connection is required to access online services, perform updates, etc.
To optimize use and reduce the risk of any compatibility problems, we recommend installing this software on a PC dedicated exclusively for workshop use.
