The echoENG CL MINI CNC vertical machining center is a compact machine tool for precision machining, suitable for workshops and production departments requiring CNC control, automatic tool changing and a small footprint. Its stress-relieved cast iron structure promotes structural stability and helps minimize deformation.
Available with a Siemens Sinumerik 808D or Sinumerik 828D CNC control, the CL MINI supports milling, drilling and rigid tapping operations. Its 500/350/450 mm X/Y/Z axis travels, combined with an 800 × 260 mm table, provide a working area suitable for workpieces and fixtures weighing up to 200 kg. The table features three 16 mm T-slots with 75 mm spacing.
The spindle reaches 8,000 rpm, with a motor power rating of 3.7/5.5 kW as specified in the catalogue. The listed spindle taper options are SK 40, BT 40 and CAT 40. The umbrella-type automatic tool changer, supplied with 12 positions as standard, enables machining cycles involving different tools, reducing manual intervention between operations.
A positioning accuracy of ±0.005 mm and positioning repeatability of ±0.003 mm support machining operations requiring accuracy and dimensional consistency. Rapid traverse speeds reach 15 m/min on all three axes, while the cutting feed rate ranges from 1 to 6 m/min.
Standard equipment includes an automatic lubrication system, an electrical cabinet heat exchanger, an LED work light, an end-of-cycle indicator light and an MPG electronic handwheel. An Ethernet port, CF card, USB interface, coolant gun and compressed air gun are also included. With overall dimensions of 1800 × 1600 × 2000 mm, the CL MINI combines the main functions of a vertical machining center within a compact footprint.
