The echoENG TCN 650 CNC lathe is designed for turning operations requiring precision, stability and substantial machining capacity. With a 650 mm swing over bed and a 375 mm swing over cross slide, it accommodates components of various sizes. Versions with 1000, 1500, 2000 or 3000 mm between centers are available to suit different workpiece lengths.
The headstock features chromium-molybdenum steel gears, while the spindle is supported by three precision bearings, designed to provide accuracy and stability even during heavy cutting operations. The 11 kW main motor and variable spindle speed across three ranges allow the rotational speed to be adapted to machining requirements.
The TCN 650 features a 320 mm manual chuck, a 105 mm spindle bore and an MT6 spindle taper. The available spindle speed ranges are 10–85, 40–350 and 110–850 rpm.
The four-station electric tool turret accommodates tools with a 32 × 32 mm shank. Six- or eight-station turrets are available as options. The X axis offers 400 mm travel, while Z-axis travel ranges from 1100 to 3100 mm, depending on the version. Rapid traverse speeds reach 4 m/min on the X axis and 5 m/min on the Z axis.
The tailstock features a 100 mm diameter quill, with 250 mm travel and an MT6 taper, to support workpieces during machining. The catalogue also lists an optional C axis and driven tooling to extend the machine’s capabilities.
