Combining 3M's legendary knowledge of hearing protection with advanced technology, our ear muffs are made of specially formulated cup and cushion foam with innovative spacer and cup design.

The 3M Peltor X Series X5 headset is the highest attenuation headset in the PELTOR range, reducing noise by up to 37 dB.

The technology used in the design means that despite the larger earcups, the headset is still lightweight with excellent balance and comfort.

The headband model features a double electrically insulated headband that helps reduce heat buildup on the top of the head, while plastic-coated stainless steel wire makes the temporal harness the strongest in the 3M range.

These headphones are both durable and comfortable because the wide, flat temporal harness has a soft plastic lining that provides stable pressure at the top of the head.

Because the metal is not exposed, this product is "dielectric" and provides electrical resistance to support applications involving the risk of sparks or electrical discharge.

Carefully molded sliders allow these earphones to be adjusted easily once placed on the head.

Wide, soft foam ear pads ensure worker comfort. In addition, thin cups ensure greater compatibility with other protective equipment.

Offering a product to suit each user's job or preference, the helmet mount version is available as P5 with the same dielectric performance as the temporal harness model.

Alternatively, if the application does not require electrical isolation, the P3 helmet mount and nuchal harness model are available.
